Anyone using Aurora Trusted Kitchen is bound by what follows, and sending a request through the site means you accept it.

What the service is

Aurora Trusted Kitchen is a lead-matching service for kitchen remodeling in Aurora, Colorado, and the Denver metro area. It takes a homeowner's request and passes it to a remodeler. It is not a contractor, does not carry out or supervise any work, and does not supply materials.

Sending a request

There's no charge to a homeowner for sending one, and doing so doesn't oblige you to hire anybody. Please send only your own details, or details you have permission to share, and describe the kitchen as it really is.

We can't promise that a remodeler will take on a particular project, visit on a particular date or work to a particular budget. Those are for you and the remodeler to settle.

Your agreement is with the remodeler

Any quote, design fee, contract, deposit, schedule or warranty is between you and the remodeler, on their terms. Aurora Trusted Kitchen is not a party to it and is not responsible for the work, its price, its quality or how long it takes.

We don't verify a remodeler's licence, insurance or record. Before you sign anything, check the business with the City of Aurora, which is explained on the about page, and read the contract through.

How we're paid

Remodelers can pay Aurora Trusted Kitchen for the requests they receive, which is how the site is funded. It doesn't change what a homeowner pays, which is nothing.

The guides and service pages

The guides and service pages are general information, written from sources that are named and dated beside the figures they support. Costs, rules and fees change, so a figure is only as current as the date next to it.

None of it is legal, tax, engineering or financial advice. Permit rules belong to the City of Aurora, and its Building Division has the final word on whether your project needs one.

Links to other websites

Pages here link to the City, State agencies and other publishers so you can read a source for yourself. Those sites are run by other people, and their content and privacy practices are their own.

Using the site fairly

Don't use the form to send advertising, automated submissions or someone else's personal details, and don't try to interfere with how the site runs. Requests that look automated may be set aside.

No guarantees

The site is offered as it is. We try to keep it accurate and working, but we don't promise that it always will be, and to the extent the law allows, Aurora Trusted Kitchen isn't liable for losses that come from using it or from relying on it.
